West Liberty, Muscatine, North Liberty Dentist Earns her 3rd Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition from the Academy of General Dentistry
West Liberty, IA 07-17-2024 – The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), a professional association of more than 35,000 general dentists who are dedicated to professional excellence through the pursuit of continuing education, is pleased to announce that Carol L Moreno,DDS, MAGD, of West Liberty, IA, has earned the 2024 Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition for her commitment to lifelong learning, volunteering her services to communities in need, mentoring associates and new dentists, and participating in organized dentistry. Dr. Carol Moreno was presented with this recognition during AGD’s 2024 scientific session held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition is presented only to AGD members who have gone above and beyond earning the association’s highest honor of Mastership. To accomplish this recognition, Dr. Moreno completed at least 1,600 hours of continuing dental education in 16 different dental disciplines. In addition, recipients must complete at least 100 hours of dental-related community/volunteer service.

A general dentist is the primary care provider for patients of all ages and is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, management, and overall coordination of services related to patients’ oral health needs.
Dr. Carol Moreno graduated from University of Iowa in May of 1983 and currently practices dentistry in West Liberty, North Liberty, Muscatine, IA. Since its inception in 2005, only 511 of the AGD’s 40,000 members have received the prestigious Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition.
