Do I need braces to straighten my teeth?
No! There is more than one way to straighten crooked teeth. At Gentle Family Dentists, we understand that not every patient wants to deal with the hassle of metal braces. Adult patients, especially, want a more subtle way to straighten teeth. So we’re offering Invisalign, a system that uses clear aligners to move the teeth into a more appropriate position. The Invisalign trays are virtually invisible and can be easily removed for eating and cleaning.
Do I Really Need Dental Implants Or Can I Just Wear Dentures?
Dentures will certainly improve your oral health and appearance. However, some patients are nervous that their dentures may slip out of place at the wrong time, which can happen. Dental implants will never shift around, provide a dependably strong bite, and last for ages with the proper maintenance. We also offer a combination of both treatments with implant-retained and implant-supported dentures!
I’m Afraid Of The Dentist. How Can I Be Calm During My Treatments?
At Gentle Family Dentists, we offer two forms of relaxation dentistry, both of which allow you to remain awake yet calm and pain-free. It’s helpful for you to be able to communicate with us during treatment for a variety of reasons. Our relaxation dentistry options are completely safe. They include free laughing gas and oral conscious relaxation, which puts you just on the brink of sleep so you feel no dental anxiety at all.
What Kind Of Toothbrush Should I Use?
Dr. Carol or Dr. Roberto will recommend the best toothbrush for you depending on your mouth’s condition. Typically, the best option for most patients is a brush with soft bristles. Although it may seem like “heavy-duty” bristles would be the most effective, they can actually cause damage to your teeth and gums. During your visit, you’ll be provided with the best brush for you and will be informed of the most beneficial brushing techniques.
